Silk Road stone-roof inns across Anatolia.

In the 13th century, Seljuk sultans laid a network of caravanserais across Anatolia: fortified stone inns, one day's march apart, with arched gates. Sultanhanı, Ağzıkarahan, Sarıhan, Ribat-ı Şerif. Built as infrastructure; today a destination in their own right.
