Sirkeli Höyük is a settlement mound about 40 km east of Adana, in the village of Sirkeli in the Ceyhan district. It lies on the west bank of the Ceyhan River where it meets the Nur Mountains, on the historic road running from northern Syria through the Cilician Gates into central Anatolia, making it one of the most important mounds in Cilicia. The mound measures 400 by 300 meters and stands 30 meters high.
