Editor's Note
Alacahoyuk is the site of a Neolithic and Hittite settlement near the village of Alacahuyuk in the Alaca district of Corum Province, where fifteen building levels from four cultural phases have been identified. It lies northeast of Bogazkale, the Hittite capital of Hattusa; its own Hittite name remains unknown, with Arinna, Tawiniya and Zippalanda all suggested.
