Editor's Note
Cyptasia (Ancient Greek: Κυπτασία) was a town on the Black Sea coast of ancient Paphlagonia, appearing as Cloptasa on the Tabula Peutingeriana. It stood on the road between Sinope (Sinop) and Amisus (Samsun), 7 Roman miles (about 10.3 km) from Sinope. Its site lies near Demirciköy, in the central district of Sinop.
