Editor's Note
Seydiköy Railway Station is a former Turkish State Railways station in the Gaziemir district of İzmir. Built by the Ottoman Railway Company, it opened on 30 October 1858 as the terminus of the Gaziemir–Seydiköy branch line. It served suburban trains between 1970 and 1986 and closed in 1986 when a road widening severed its connection; the disused building was restored by the Gaziemir Municipality in 2011 and reopened as the Seydiköy Memory House.
