Teos was an ancient Greek city on the Ionian coast, set on a peninsula; its remains lie south of the Sığacık quarter in the Seferihisar district of İzmir. Founded by Minyans, Ionians and Boeotians, its date of foundation is unknown. Teos was one of the twelve cities that formed the Ionian League.
