Editor's Note
Havza Atatürk's House Museum is a historic building in the Havza district of Samsun Province used as a museum. Its historical importance comes from Mustafa Kemal Atatürk using the building as an army headquarters between 25 May and 13 June 1919, at the beginning of the Turkish War of Independence, and it is regarded as the first headquarters of the national struggle. It was opened as a museum in 2002.
