The Samsun City Museum, opened on 12 February 2013 in the İlkadım district of Samsun, is a city museum displaying information and materials about Samsun's social, historical, cultural, geographical and economic life. It drew 20,000 visitors in its first seventy days and received a special jury award from the Union of Historic Towns.
