Located near Bor, this ancient aqueduct is an important example of Anatolia's masterful work in water engineering. In this region, where different civilizations followed one another, the water channels built in antiquity became tangible expressions of urbanization and cultural sophistication. In this structure, built of stone blocks, it is possible to recognize architectural features of the Roman and early Byzantine periods. These remains teach us how the ancient societies of Anatolia designed their complex water management systems. Walking among these ancient structures, visitors can imagine the agricultural lands that were fed by the water flowing through these channels nearly two thousand years ago. Exploring this area especially in the early morning hours is the ideal time to catch the golden light of the rising sun over the remains.
