Editor's Note
Kale Hamamı is a historic Turkish bath, now in ruins, in the Vize district of Kırklareli. The building, which had separate sections for men and women, bears no inscription, so its exact date is unknown; it is said to have formed a complex with the nearby Şerbetdar Hasan Bey Mosque and is variously dated to the Byzantine period or to the late Ottoman-early Republican era. Built of brick, rubble stone and cut stone, the bath has a warm room (ılıklık) and a hot room (sıcaklık).
