Editor's Note
Sabancı Merkez (Central) Mosque sits in Adana's Reşatbey quarter, south of the Central Park and on the west bank of the Seyhan River, and opened for worship in 1998. One of the largest mosques in Turkey, its exterior resembles the Selimiye Mosque in Edirne, while it has six minarets like the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul.
