Editor's Note
This water-distribution domed structure lies on the line of the Halkalı Waters. Of its two domes, the smaller is the Beylik Dome and the larger is the Süleymaniye Dome. It is claimed that the structures, depicted on the 1859 Köprülü Waterways map, were originally a cistern dating from the Byzantine period.
