Cevdet Koca Konağı

The Cevdet Koca Mansion is a traditional dwelling built of masonry, consisting of a basement and a ground floor. There is a room to the right and left of the entrance hall, while directly across from the front door are two şerbetlik (drink-serving niches). This arrangement shows that a symmetrical and functional approach was adopted in the mansion's floor plan. The basement has a solid load-bearing system of walls and arches built of cut stone with arched openings. It is thought that this floor connected to the ground floor by a staircase believed to lie within the rooms.
