Editor's Note
The Yukarı (Upper) Mosque, located on parcel 212 in the Camiatik locality of Yeniçağa district, has a longitudinal rectangular plan. The mosque, which has no inscription, was built in 1903 according to the information in its charter (berat). The mosque courtyard is entered from the facade facing the road on the north side. In the middle of the north wall is a glazed entrance space. The mosque, whose outer walls are plastered with colored sand render, has a doorway portal whose projecting profiled stone-jambed rectangular frame is topped by a pointed-arched pediment. The women's gallery is reached from the portico (last congregation place). Its railings are wooden with stylized floral motifs.
