Editor's Note
Krateia (Cratia, Flaviopolis) was a town in the interior of ancient Bithynia. It bore the name Flaviopolis, probably given in the time of Vespasian. According to the Antonine Itinerary it lay between Claudiopolis and Ancyra in Galatia, 24 miles from Claudiopolis, and was originally a Paphlagonian town colonized by the Bithynians.
