A park in central Ankara that has served the city's residents since the 1930s as one of the Republican era's first green spaces. Located in the Fidanlık neighbourhood on the site of one of the city's earliest tree nurseries, it formally opened as a park in 1980. Its roughly 86,200-square-metre grounds include lawns, a pool, picnic and children's play areas and sports areas, and it is rich in tree species.
