Editor's Note

Eller is a 1979 sculpture by Metin Yurdanur located in Abdi İpekçi Park in Ankara. It was made as part of an initiative by the Mayor of Ankara, Ali Dinçer, towards the end of the 1970s to place sculptures freely around the city's public spaces. The artist stated 'I see the hands as part of the brain and the eyes,' emphasising his depiction of working and creating hands.
