The mosque located in Yenice neighbourhood of central Mucur district is rectangular in form on a north-south axis, with a minaret added in 1980 and a small space added later. The mosque, known to have first been built of adobe, is today plastered and painted with cement mortar. According to the marble plaque above its entrance door, the mosque was built in the 19th century; furthermore, the name Kapıcıbaşı Hacı Hasan Ağa Mosque appears in the hurufat registers of the Hacıbektaş-Mucur district covering the period from April-May 1675 to January-February 1836.
