Editor's Note
The mosque, located in Solaklı neighbourhood of Mucur district, is rectangular in plan and built on a north-south axis; according to the marble plaque above its entrance door, it is dated to the 19th century. The endowment antiquities record in the archive of the General Directorate of Foundations, however, gives AD 1784 as the building's construction date. The name Seyyid Veli Ağa Mosque appears in the hurufat registers of the Hacıbektaş-Mucur district covering the period from April-May 1675 to January-February 1836.
