This is a building in the center of the Bor district, inside what is now the district market. Although the mosque itself has no construction inscription, the inscription on the fountain built together with it bears the year 1826 and the name of its patron, Ali Ağa. The mosque was probably built by this man in 1826. The leatherworking trade, long practiced and still active in the Bor district, was once carried out near this mosque, and the mosque was probably built to serve the needs of these tannery (tabakhane) tradesmen.
