The Karakuş Tumulus is a funerary monument—a hierothesion—in the Kâhta district of Adıyaman Province, Turkey. Known locally for the eagle figure atop a column to its south, it was built by Mithridates II of Commagene around 30–20 BCE for the women of the Commagene royal family, including Queen Isias and the princesses Antiochis and Aka I.
