Editor's Note
The Severan Bridge is a Roman bridge built around 200 AD near the ancient city of Arsameia, about 55 km north-east of Adıyaman. Spanning the Cendere Çayı, a tributary of the Kâhta Creek, it was described and depicted in 1883 by the archaeologist Osman Hamdi Bey.
