Editor's Note
Also known as Üçkapılar, Hadrian's Gate is a monumental memorial gate in Antalya built in honour of the Roman emperor Hadrian, who visited the city in 130 CE. It later became part of the walls surrounding the city and harbour, and is the only surviving entrance gate of those walls today. Its three arches are framed by four marble columns on each face, flanked by two towers.
