Editor's Note
Acemhöyük is a large tell near the village of Yeşilova, about 18 km northwest of Aksaray. Settled from the early 3rd millennium BC, it flourished as a trading colony in the Assyrian Trade Network during the Middle Bronze Age, with a karum (trading post); its Bronze Age name was probably Purušḫanda. It was later reoccupied in the Early Hellenistic and Roman periods.
