Panaztepe is a Bronze Age archaeological site about 13 km west of the Menemen district centre in Izmir, east of the town of Maltepe and some 10 km inland from the coast. It sits on a natural hill and its slopes at the northern end of the area also known as Yeditepeler. Its name is thought to have appeared as Paniissa during the Hittite period.
