Editor's Note
Lysimachia was an important Hellenistic Greek town at the north-western tip of the Thracian Chersonese (Gallipoli Peninsula), set on the neck where the peninsula joins the mainland. Its site lies near the modern village of Bolayir, not at Hexamili as was once thought.
