Ciscissus (Kiskissos) was a town and bishopric of ancient Cappadocia, inhabited in Roman and Byzantine times and suffragan to Caesarea in Cappadocia. Its bishop Plato attended the Council in Trullo in 692 and Soterichus the Second Council of Nicaea in 787. Today the site is known as Yaylacık.
