Editor's Note
Lyrbe (also Lyrba) was an ancient city, and later a bishopric, in the Roman province of Pamphylia Prima. Once proposed to be Seleucia, it is now identified as the inland mountain city of Lyrbe on the basis of a sanctuary attested by an inscription in the Sidetic language. Its site corresponds to a point about 1 km north of the village of Bucakşeyhler in the Manavgat district of Antalya Province.
