Editor's Note
Drabos (Ancient Greek: Δράβος) was a coastal Greek settlement in ancient Thrace, on the Thracian Chersonese (Gallipoli Peninsula). Surveys conducted from 2013 by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University around Ece Limanı and Cape Büyük Kemikli identified remains dated to the 7th century BC (the Milesian period) thought to belong to Drabos, along with abundant Archaic, Classical and Hellenistic pottery. Its site is tentatively located near Ece Limanı cove, north of Beşyol in the Eceabat district of Çanakkale.
