Editor's Note
Cobrys (Ancient Greek: Κῶβρυς) was a coastal Greek town in ancient Thrace, on the Thracian Chersonese (Gallipoli Peninsula), mentioned in the Periplus of Pseudo-Scylax. It served as a trading post (emporion) of Cardia. Its site lies about 1.6 km south of Kavakköy, in the Gelibolu district of Çanakkale.
