Editor's Note
Pygela (Ancient Greek: Πύγελα) was a small town of ancient Lycia; according to the Stadiasmus Patarensis it lay about 60 stadia (some 11 km) from Corydala. Its exact location has not been established, but scholars agree it should be sought in the mountainous upper watershed of the Alakır River, around Güzören in the Kumluca district of Antalya.
