Kelbessos was a fortified mountain settlement on Turkey's southern coast, west of the village of Doyran within today's Konyaaltı district of Antalya, set at about 1,100 metres altitude where the ancient regions of Lycia and Pisidia met. It belonged to the territory (peraia) of the city of Termessos and served as a settlement and military garrison, continually inhabited by a garrison from Hellenistic to Roman times.
