Editor's Note
Isauria Nova ('New Isaura') was a town inhabited during the Roman and Byzantine periods, named in contrast to the settlement of Isaura Palaea (Old Isaura). Also bearing the name Leontopolis, the city was later incorporated into the province of Lycaonia. Together with Old Isaura it was one of the two major settlements of the Isauria region, and is located at the ruins of Zengibar castle near the village of Hacılar, about 19 km east of the Bozkır district of Konya.
