Bin Tepe is an archaeological site on the southern shore of Marmara Lake in Manisa Province, lying north of the ancient city of Sardis between the Gediz River and the lake. Consisting of monumental burial mounds raised for the kings and elites of the Lydian Kingdom whose capital was Sardis, surveys have identified at least 119 tumuli here. Together with the urban area of Sardis, Bin Tepe was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2025.
