Editor's Note
Naulochus (Naulochos) was a town of ancient Ionia. It is thought to have been the port of Priene, but it may have been an autonomous city at least during part of the fourth century BCE, since bronze coins from that century bearing the legend "ΝΑΥ" have been preserved.
