Kanuni House is a history museum in the Ortahisar district of Trabzon. The two-storey wooden building, constructed in the 19th century, was restored and turned into a museum by the Trabzon Governorate in 1994, and stands in the neighbourhood where Süleyman I was born. Reflecting Trabzon's traditional architecture, it displays material on Süleyman's life along with a sword, kaftan, portrait and a poem said to have belonged to him.
