Editor's Note
The Yaşar Museum is a private museum in the Konak district of İzmir. It opened on 17 January 2026 in a restored 1895 former flour mill, refurbished by the Yaşar Education and Culture Foundation. Holding painting, archaeology and ethnography collections, the museum continues the Selçuk Yaşar Painting Museum, founded in 1985 as Turkey's first private painting museum.
