Editor's Note
The Çanakkale City Museum and Archive occupies a historic building on Fetvane Street that dates from the 1800s and once served as the 'Emek Hotel'. Bought and restored by the Çanakkale Municipality in 2004, it opened as a museum on 6 March 2009. Displays cover Trojan mythology and the Gallipoli campaign, alongside more than 300 cultural and traditional objects donated by residents and shown with their stories.
