The Kastamonu Hat Museum was founded with the mission of preserving the city's deep-rooted hat-making tradition and is a place that bears witness to Anatolia's rich history of fashion. Kastamonu, which produced hats for national and international markets from the 19th century onward, holds in this museum a rich collection ranging from the traditional fez, Circassian hat, and turban to pieces from the modern era.
