Zeus Cave lies near Güzelçamlı in the Kuşadası district of Aydın, within the Dilek Peninsula–Büyük Menderes Delta National Park. Formed by an underground river eroding the limestone, it has a pool-shaped floor; its blue-green water is a mix of spring water and salty seawater and attracts visitors for swimming. In Greek mythology, Zeus is said to have hidden in this cave to escape the wrath of his brother Poseidon.
