Preserving the history of the olive and of olive cultivation, Akhisar's emblematic product, this museum offers a visual presentation of the golden heritage of the Manisa region. Ceramic olive jars, ancient pressing tools, and collections from before and after the development of production techniques recount this precious craft step by step. In the museum's special exhibits, traditional products made by local masters and photographic archives draw a vivid portrait of knowledge passed down from generation to generation. It is little known that the olive trade in Akhisar's history began in the Eastern Roman period and continues today with the production of world-renowned quality products.
