Editor's Note
The İnönü Military Quarter and War Museum is in the İnönü district about 25 km west of Eskişehir and opened to visitors on 1 April 2001. It was created in the house used as a headquarters by İsmet İnönü, commander of the Western Front in the Turkish War of Independence. The house was transferred to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 1987, and the museum displays copies of İnönü's uniforms, weapons gathered from the battlefield and photographs of the İnönü Battles.
