Editor's Note
The İskenderun Naval Museum is a maritime museum on Atatürk Bulvarı in the İskenderun district of Hatay. The building was bought by the Turkish Navy in 1942 and used for various services until 2008, then arranged as a naval museum and opened to visitors on 26 June 2009. The museum has several halls, including ones devoted to figures such as Tayfur Sökmen and Şükrü Kanatlı.
