Editor's Note
Ankara Palas is a historical building in Ankara that served in the early years of the Turkish Republic as a guest house for official visitors and a social venue for members of the Grand National Assembly, witnessing many key events in Turkish political life. The Turkish Neoclassical building was completed in 1928; after architect Vedat Tek stepped away, Mimar Kemaleddin Bey took over the construction.
