Editor's Note
The Ethnography Museum of Ankara stands in the Altındağ district of Ankara, on a hill formerly known as Namazgâh Tepesi where Friday prayers were held during the War of Independence. First intended as an archaeology museum and then as a painting and sculpture museum, after its opening the building took on its present role as an ethnography museum.
