Editor's Note
The Alagöz Headquarters Museum is the farmhouse in the village of Alagöz, between Ankara and Polatlı, that the Western Front Command used as its headquarters during the Battle of Sakarya. Belonging to a villager, Türkoğlu Ali Ağa, the building was used as a home until 1965 and then transferred to the Ministry of Education. It was restored and turned into a museum, with its upper floor arranged and opened to visitors on 10 November 1968.
