The Mehmet Akif Ersoy Literature Museum Library is a literary museum and archive in Ankara dedicated to Turkish literature and named after Mehmet Âkif Ersoy (1873-1936), the poet who wrote the Turkish National Anthem. Established by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, it opened on 12 March 2011, the 90th anniversary of the anthem's adoption, in the Hamamönü quarter of the Altındağ district.
