The Atatürk Museum (also the Revolution Museum) stands on Halâskârgazi Avenue in the Şişli district of Istanbul, in the house where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk lived, and was turned into a museum by the Istanbul Municipality in 1942. It displays Atatürk's personal belongings, various materials relating to Atatürk and the War of Independence, and paintings by different artists.
