The Konya Archaeological Museum is a state archaeology museum established in 1901 and moved to its present site in 1962. Among its prominent displays are sarcophagi and finds from the ancient city of Çatalhöyük, alongside Neolithic, Bronze and Iron Age and Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine ceramics, stone and bronze ware, including a 3rd-century marble sarcophagus with reliefs depicting the life of Hercules.
