Editor's Note
The Museum of Anatolian Civilizations is a history and archaeology museum on the south slope of Ankara Castle in the Atpazarı area. It occupies the old Ottoman Mahmut Pasha covered bazaar and the Kurşunlu Han; bought following Atatürk's wish to establish a Hittite museum, the buildings were opened to the public after restoration carried out between 1938 and 1968.
